Jon on Gators In Waycross: "Until 5 years ago I had never seen a gator North of Waycross Ga (150 or so south of Atlanta). But in the past few years the gators have moved futher and futher north, breading and estblashing new colonies. And every year I go back to that pond and there they are. Their numbers are up to around ten in that area. How they do I don't know. I thought it was to cold up here for gators. Maybe this is just there summer home."
